Marcie Dimenstein, LCSW
For over 30 years, Marcie Dimenstein has demonstrated a total commitment to helping individuals and families struggling with behavioral, emotional and psychological health challenges, including individuals with long-term mental illness and addictions. She worked for many years with the Agency on Aging of South Central CT providing services to isolated elders in their home.
Her life changed dramatically when her husband was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia. After Jerry’s death it became her mission to assist Elders and their families in finding the joy in their lives by reducing the stress they experienced when searching for resources and trying to manage and coordinate care.
